Privacy Policy

What we store

• Accounts: your email address and a salted hash of your password. Nothing else is required.
• API tokens: the tokens you create, their limits, and request counts per day.
• Donations: when a donation webhook arrives we store the payer email to match it to your account. Card details never touch our servers — Stripe and Ko-fi handle payments.
• Verse reports: reports about a verse are stored together with the reporting account, to prevent abuse of the feature.
• Server logs: standard request logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) kept for a short period for security and debugging.

Visitor statistics

We keep aggregated statistics — which chapters and verses are read, in total numbers per day. These numbers are not tied to your identity and cannot be used to follow a person around.

What we don't do

• No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.
• No cookies except the login session cookie; the light/dark theme preference is stored locally in your browser and never sent to us.
• No sharing of your email with anyone.

Third parties

The site itself loads no third-party content. If you donate, Stripe or Ko-fi process the payment under their own privacy policies. Our Facebook page posts are made by us; no visitor data is shared with Facebook.

Your data

You can delete your account and its data yourself at any time — see data deletion — or ask us to export what we hold (email, token usage). Reach us via the help page or our Facebook page.
